“The Astronaut of the Seas” (O Astronauta dos Mares)
Created and produced a two-season podcast exploring storytelling in both reflective and fictional forms. The Astronaut of the Seas began as a space for philosophical thoughts—diving into themes such as meaning, self-discovery, and spiritual awareness through intimate, narrative-driven episodes.
In its second season, the project evolved into a fully imagined audio fiction. The story follows Raku, a fisherman who encounters a mysterious whale that leads him to a hidden underwater world called Bloomer—inhabited by hybrid beings, half human and half fish. What begins as discovery unfolds into an adventure, as Raku becomes a protector of this new world, facing threats from an opposing force above the surface.
Blending introspection with fantasy, the podcast became an exploration of storytelling across formats—using sound as a medium to create both inner reflection and immersive worlds.
